My Miami chalice

I have had this for a little over a month and it has popped out 2 more eyes but it has not grown any ant all.The eyes are close but individual. Is there anything to do to grow the body or is this just going to be how it is. I have noticed people having the opposite results than me but whatever.

It just needs time I've hade chalices that don't start growing for 6+ months just keep it healthy and it will grow

Yea, don't be upset because it hasn't grown in a month!!! Definitley could be a while longer before you notice any growth

Try feeding it some mysis.

The more you feed it, the faster it will grow.

In my experience all of my chalices use all of their energy to pop out a few eye when I first get them and then they start to grow out and pop up eyes thats usually how it goes for me!

How big is it? Just curious. When I get teenie weenie itsy bitsy frags they take forever to start growing. So long that by the time they are decent sized I could have bought a decent sized chunk for the same price cuz the price has dropped over that period of time. LOL! Funny but not funny at the same time.

ya chalices don't seem to be the fastest growers to start but when they start they can take off

I agree. I also think that the mortality rate of these booger frags is higher than people here talk about. But good news here is that the My Miami is a hardy piece and a moderate to fast growing piece.

It isnt big but it is not tiny either it has 5 eyes and eats every time I feed. It looked bad when I first got it. I got a pretty good deal on the 3 eye piece and it just popped out the 2 other eyes in the last week. I have seen them just slowly come from a light orange now to bright orange eyes. It looks alot better tan when I got it so now I am getting stokced to get it to grow. The eyes have fuly formed now and it looks better than the pic.

Oh yeah that looks like a nice juicy frag. It'll take off soon. Just take care of it and be patient.
