My Mixed Reboot (Retired)

Hello R2R community!!
I have been a quiet reader for quite a while, this is quite literally the #1 place for me to go when I have a question regarding our hobby :)

About eight years ago, I ran my first tank, however, after about two years it was accidently crashed by a relative and some Windex.
Fast forward to now, and I've restarted my 40 Gallon and decided to go Mixed.

I started the tank cycle back up in October of 2020.
It cycled for 12 weeks before the first inhabitants were added.
Water changes were every other Sunday doing 15 Gallons a change.

All of my water is purchased from my LPS.

  • Intake: FZONE Aquatic Glass Lily Pipe Skimmer Inflow and Outflow for Aquatic Filter System, with cut piece of bio foam in the skimmer intake. (Due to my Reef Octopus HOB-1000 breaking during storage period)
  • Outlet: Standard outlet aimed upwards on opposite side of tank.
