My MP40w experience

I just went from a single MP40 to 2xMP10's on a SPS BB 40g breeder, and love it.
Super random and flows getting everywhere, not a spot of detritus.

I'm pretty sure the new pumps will sync with the old pumps with the old modes. You just won't be able to run the old pumps on any of the new modes.

4 vortechs for a wave...lol 1 tunze wavebox > 4 vortechs.

I love vortechs for their randomized flow rate and large undertow, not their wave function

The person in that video doesn't have their wave setup quite right.

In my 125g 48x30x20" tank, two vortechs can produce about a 1" wave. I love them for wave function. Alll wave generators, they work best on tanks with a single center overflow; that have nothing directly impeding the flow.

YUP that wave action scares me. I don't think most tanks are made to handle that type of wave action long term.

the first time we put it on wave I freaked out and turned it off and we only have two I can imagine what four would do.
I was reading the online manual and Vortec recommends using the MP10es on the back wall if you need additional flow. not sure what I will do.
