Hi @Pico bam do you have a close up on how its looking? Definitely update far as progression and if its successfull:D
I have to be 100% honest I was nervous on a few of these cuts but was also experimenting as well to see how moms and babies reacted and I think I pretty much got it down to where I'm comfortable moving forward.
To date ive been 100% successful taking foot cuts on pieces of foot that the main foot was already stretching away from and leaving a little piece behind. At this point we are already helping the shroom along with natural propagation im sure.
What I was was experimenting with recently here was with parts of the foot that where properly seated and starting to bubble or web up on rock like seen here-

Previous cuts taken same way-

Here's a piece of foot that attached to rack on me just sliced through foot to removed it from mom. It took this one 3 weeks to go from this-

To this a perfectly healthy baby with mouth eating reef roids here-

Again ive had 100% success taking these kind of cuts but the trick is taking them as close to the base of the stem as possible but not encroach the stem. Cut exactly at crease of foot where stem meets base. The moms and babies heal up easily and super less stressful all the way around and makes them less prone to bacterial infections im sure.
Here's the babies im worried about. I got into the stem a little and babies and moms are not healed yet-

Babies cut right at crease already getting ready to form mouths pretty much fully healed in 48hrs:)
