So, the awesome guys at spectrapure (well, Charles the owner) made me a custom ato pump for my bc29. due to the small size of tank and very very little evaporation, I didn't need all the bells and whistles but I wanted something to keep my water level (and salinity) as stable as possible. Charles custom made me a pump that has a hysteresis of 1/10"!!!!! Their peristaltic pumps are simply the best in the biz - most reliable and quietest. Got it hooked up and excited to see how it works out. I'm guessing it will work awesome. :)

What was the cost or what will the cost be if other members like to order this from your friend at Spectrapure?

They're not in production so I'm not sure what the cost would be. if there's enough interest I'll gladly pass it along to Charles and maybe he'll start selling them.

One week later and I love this thing even more. water level dead consistent. pump super quiet. can't even hear it and the tank sits behind the couch I watch TV from.
