Being able to snorkel in the Red Sea would be my Nirvana.

My tank is a custom-built 120 x 50 x 60h. It drains to a sump with Cheato and aiptasia. than through a large filter floss to the next compartment with the chiller pump (maxspect mj6K), a tiny pump for a UV (Vecton...), and a Maxspect skimmer on 100% 24/7. Last is the return pump (another maxspect mj6K) with a large piece of a yellow sponge. Tank is with AF dry rocks (too many, fue were taken out), 4 magnetic shelves, and sand for my precious wrasses. I have about 40 species of corals and about 20 fish. For the fish population, I tried to have most of the reef representative: 5 wrasses (Lemon marang, dusky, leopard, and a pair of sixlines, a butterfly fish (CBB), P. Imperator, Gobies (Sand sifting, keep the sand white), two Blennies, two maroon clown, which I regret (Especially the giant female, which is very agressive to fish, corals and myself), a regal tang, two yellow tail chromis, 4 Pseudoanthias, a mandrin, P. Fridmany and one 6 years old Bangay cardinal. Many critters that came spontaneously, three sea urchins.
Light is now Starton x and two Kessils (360x). I use the Shallow Reef spectrum as I do not like the Blue disco style tanks. Tunze ATO that is on with a timer for 5 min twice every 24h and goes through the TLF kalk reactor
I use all Tropc Marine stuff: Balling three-part fortified with their A and K elements. I do their ElimiNP about 4 times the recommended dose and weekly Reef Actif (For the sake of a healthy microbiome). I dose The TM amino organics, but still my nitrate is near 0, which I think is a good thing. I have a GFO that I use occasionally to fight elevated phosphate (it's 0.2-0.4 ppm)
I feed a lot... A giant mussel every day for the CBB (he is 5 years old) and the juvenile Imperator, which is now starting to change color. This guy also harasses the corals a bit, but that's life (Green Slimer now opens only at night, etc...)

Collecting anything from the Red Sea is illegal, and you may end up paying a huge fine and going to jail. Two sea urchins were a gift from a breeder, and the third I bought. The Red Sea is still attractive, but it cannot be compared to its state in the seventies of the previous century. Lots of hotels on the Egyptian side, and much less care for nature protection, have led to the current state of the reef along the Red Sea. I think the Jordanian side is much better preserved. My critters came with corals because I never treat with iodine; I just stick them straight in.

Our rules for collecting are differrent. In Texas & Louisiana, if I have a residential fishing licensee, I can collect fish and seaweed, but I can not sell.

Beginning in 1990, select vendors in Florida, leased offshore blocks with flat sandy bottoms and transported limestone from rock quarries as a base for diver collected live rock. Often, incubating larvae of inverts are brought in with this diver collected live rock. That’s how I often get urchins.
