I had this tank set up for a few years before it crashed at the beginning of the year. I tore it down to completely redo it.

I have no room upstairs for my tank so it is in the basement. I wanted to get it back up and running as soon as possible, but as you can see the floor through the tank it needs stripped, etched, and repainted. Unfortunately mother nature doesn't want to let winter go away here yet. So any way while waiting for some warm weather I have been getting things pulled together and ready to go. Looking at the back right corner the silicone is discolored

so I decided to reseal the tank.

Got the trim and overflow off, now to wait for the new silicone I ordered to arrive before stripping the rest off. Anyway thanks for looking, I'll be posting some pictures of the equipment soon.

Been busy and haven't had much time to post, but I finally got some work done on the tank. Here is what it looks like.

I might change things around as it cycles, but I have time to decide.

It has been 2 weeks since I got frags from WWC's live sale so I figured I post some pictures. They aren't very good but I don't have a good camera.

The back glass and overflow are a bit dirty, but I was to lazy to get the scraper out and clean it, and can't get behind it with magnetic cleaner.

It's been 2 months now since adding frags, figured I post some new pics. Once again glass is dirty but wanted to get shots of fish, and they would have hid has I cleaned it.

Your tank is coming right along. I always enjoy reading about breathing new life back into the aquariums.

Here are some new pictures of my tank.

Plate that's hiding on the side. There are some new acro frags on top that I got, the 10 frag pack from Aqua SD. It's only been 3 months since first fish went in, but since the birds nest has almost doubled in size I figured I'd try them.

I have a new skimmer coming from Lifereef, and a calcium reactor ordered for when he makes them. I have to give a shout out to Jeff at Lifereef for the great customer service he provides. Unlike other companies he made sure I got what I wanted not just what he wanted to sell me.

I got my new lifereef skimmer this week and got it set up for the most part, will be adding CO2 scrubber soon. I'm skimming a little wet for now to help drop a recent spike in nitrate and phosphate.

Figured I get a picture of my water barrels.
012.jpg

Large barrel and 1 small barrel is RODI, other small barrel is NSW. I did the 3 barrel so that I could have a small barrel for my ATO. Extra insurance it wasn't going to run 50 gallon of RODI into my tank if ATO failed on.
May not look as pretty as some peoples but at $10 for small barrels and $15 for large it is a nice way to cut some costs.

Tank shot.

A few shots of coral growing off plug onto the rock.

Things have been going pretty good. At almost 4 month mark and so far no major issues, crossing fingers. Thanks for looking.

Last picture you can see a feather duster growing under rock. Everything seems to be growing even the vermetid snails, which I gave up fighting long ago and just remove the one close to corals.
