My new RBTA

I recently picked up a 2 or 3 year old RBTA from a guy. I have only had it in the tank for about 2 weeks. Seems to be very healthy and my clowns are very happy. However, I had a few questions. First mine has a bright green base with bright red tips. I guess I wanted to know if there are different species of RBTA. I have seen all red. Second what is a typical period or what is required for the RBTA to actually bubble its tips.

They are all the same species, just color variants. As for the bubbled tips...good luck. Many ideas as to why some bubble and some don't. Lighting, flow, feeding are all theories as to how BTAs react.
