So, didnt do this initially a year ago when I set this tank up in my home office, but trying to make up for it now. Here is the aquascape of the tank after adding base rock and a few pieces of LFS LR.

Broke down this weekend and ordered the sump plumbing kit for the max e260. I needed to see how far the overflow pipes stuck down in the stand so I could determine what sumps will work. I think I have enough room for a standard sump. I like the redsea sump but its not got a lot of water volume. Caved today and bought a Eshopps r-200 on sale at BRS (twice the water volume at about 26g). Hopefully I can get everything plumbed next week- the sump should arrive Monday.

Got the sump in today but it was cracked in the skimmer chamber. Shout out to BRS- I called and they shipped another one immediately- no fuss no muss. Excellent customer service. I'll wait for the new one then start plumbing. Here is the sump and the equipment going in it.
