Hey everyone! After a year with my 20G nano tank I decided to go a little bigger and do it a little better.

So what’s in the menu?
• 70x60x55CM Display 12MM extraclear Glass
• 58x45x38CM Sump
• Custom Cabinet | metal frame.

I did my own plumbing so nothing fancy as you can see in the photo’s.

I’m going to cycle the tank using dried rocks + live rocks + media from my nano tank.

Im still not sure about the aquascape I made and I would like some help with that if anyone can give me a good advice.

as for now thats the aquascape I made:

any ideas how to make it better?

I hope you enjoyed the progress so far. I’ll update soon as possible.

have a wonderful day.

Really nice equipment you've chosen. Do you intend to use some sort of controller for your heater and chiller?

I think the scape looks good, but could mayyybe use a little more rock. Depends on what you plan on keeping in there.

Hey thanks for replying! Yes I’m plugging the heater+chiller to an InkBird ITC308 wireless thermostat controller.

and I’m planning mainly to put LPS and soft corals, but also some sps mainly montis and stags.

That's great. I always feel an obligation to make sure people aren't relying solely on their heater's thermostat. I think the eheim + inkbird or ranco is a great combo.

I'm a big fan of your tank dimensions. Was it custom? I'm gonna convert to dumb american for everyone else.

It's 27.5"x23.6"x21.6".

Scape advice is so difficult to give without seeing in person, imo. I do plan on eventually upgrading to a very similar dimension. Check my build thread. I like my scape and if I had say a 24"x24" or 60cmx60cm tank, I would reuse my scape, but add more islands around it. With that kind of space, I would want to create more of a 360 degree scape with room for coral on all sides. Maybe that's of no help and you think my scape is terrible, but that's all the advice I can offer!

Thanks for the advice! I already had a bad experience with a chiller thermostat before so no more! Haha.

I totally agree about the dimensions I read dig it because its not too big not too small ;)

I’ll check your build thread and come back to you on that one! Thanks again.
