The wife and I are trying to figure out why this is sticking out of my Rhodactis. I'm a bit of a noob, so was hoping someone could clue me in on what this thing is doing? During the day, the shroom will sort of reach out and cover it, but when it retracts at night, it's just sort of sticking out there...

Well, it's fleshy colored and flexible. Seems to be growing out from under the shroom.

Oh really. That makes the most sense. Now I have to figure out what it is. It's grown fairly quickly, and is flexible - sort of bounces in the current.

Woke up yesterday morning and the, whatever it was, is totally gone. Still no clue what that thing was, or where it went. Thing has been there for weeks and now it up and disappears. Still riddling me.
