My Sailfin Tang doesn't seem right.
I got him about a week ago and have been out of town.
I had a friend watching the house and feeding the tank.

He is not swimming much and hanging down at the bottom of the tank.

Is he eating? Concerned about the line running down his side don't know what that is.

He seems to be eating and doing just fine until yesterday.
Do you think that line is Lateral Lines Disease?
I have a grounding probe and when I check I get no voltage in the tank.

Gave up on the WWC sale?

They told me to leave. What a joke. I really don't know if thats lateral line it just doesn't look normal. Maybe there when you bought it. I have a redsea sailfin for years and have never had a problem. Don't know if you you can treat him in a quarantine tank or not I have never had any luck treating fish they always pass. My advice is if you spot a fish at your lfs is to watch it for a week or so beforeing buying. I only have a few fish in my reef and i am paranoid about adding any more. You just take a gamble every time you add a new fish.

He looked fine in the shop, but I don't know how long they had him there.

It seems like the "new server" is having problems.

I couldn't pull up the site at all 3 min ago.

Well, I'm sorry to say that he didn't make it.

I woke this morning to him struggling to swim around and stay upright.
He kept getting suck against the over flow or the wavemaker pump intakes.

Thanks for all the answers though.
