I got a pair of wild caught Salomon Island Percs last fall and they finally took to their RBTA a few weeks later. This afternoon I witnessed them laying eggs. I'm so excited! I have another pair of clowns in our 150g reef tank and they started laying eggs in the fall.

Few shots of the process...

Oh wow how exciting! This is my favorite part of a reef tank! Clowns and their babies! :D

:) Thanks guys! Right now I can't take care of the fry, I'd need to have separate tanks running for 2 mated pairs and hope that they would lay eggs in those new tanks. Maybe one day... I have a 3rd pair of clowns in my nano, Picasso's and once they are mature enough to mate, I may have to start raising their fry.

Congratulations. Before the picassos start mating you should at least try to raise some of the onyx batches so you can get the hang of it. If you can get the process down fairly well, you won't lose as many of the expensive picasso babies.
Good luck
