Today morning wake up and saw this

Just measure the PO4.
Was 200 display by Hanna on Sunday. That is around 0.6 ppm
Now Hanna display 106. That is 0.32 ppm
A drop of 100 after adding phos minus and carbon in bags 3 days ago

I not sure what is this brown sheet on my rocks.
Is it diatom? If is diatom then is silica induce. Will disappear once silica drop below 0.1 ppm
Or is this cyano? I never see brown cynao before. And is not slimme.
If its cynao that is bad bacteria. Cynao feed on nitrogen and carbon and use photosynthetic period to produce oxygen.
Will reduce photosynthetic period by 50% and siphon out what can be seem. Will also reduce the nutrient level by reducing the PO4 from 0.3 to 0.1

Got this red algae from a reefer last nite.
Thick sheet of red algae. I don't the id.
Just add in my fudge. Now m fudge has chaeto and this red algae. Hope it grow.

Tonite carry out PO4 and NO3 mesurement.
PO4 finally drop from 106 ppb to 87 ppb or 0.27 ppm.

Now no more brown film on the rock. However did see some very short brown
hair.(About 1 cm)
Is this hair algae?

Tonite , 8/7/18 carried out another PO4 test.
PO4 drop again. From yesterday 87 ppb to tonite 77 ppb
or 0.24 ppm

2.5 ft : Still 0.24 ppm. Think the phos minus exhausted.
So change phos minus and carbon

PO4 has drop from 0.24 to 0.16 ppm
Will continue to monitor
