Hello!

After introducing myself a few months ago i am starting a journal about my tank. I am from Holland so excuse me if my English isn't all that right [emoji4]
It's 130x60x60 (cm's) and 130 gallon, SPS dominated and is running since january 2016.

I use GlennF's DSR methode which means no waterchanges and keeping my parameters on the right level with a 8 channel dosing machine.

Time for some pic's:

Gorgeous! How often do you test for everything? Can you list what you are dosing? Great work!

I dose 1 ppm every day to keep it at level

Wow, it looks like you have quite a few fish too..12 that I see? I'm surprised you still have to dose nitrate with that many fish and no water changes.

I'm not familiar with this method, you are just testing and replacing depleted elements correct? Can you explain your nutrient export, is it the corals using up the nitrate and phosphate or are you removing them with another media and then adding them back in at appropriate levels?

I have over 20 fish in my tank and they are fed once or twice a day.
I don't use any kind of media just a big skimmer.

I dose carbon (vinegar/sugar) to keep the bacterial colonies happy and healthy. They wil use some nitrates.

I think my nutrients are partially used by corals and bacteria and my skimmer removes the rest.
