Most of the pics are 1-2 months apart. For example I got the Reefkoi Red jacket frag in September of last year, the carls candelight and planet earth tenuis were little 1/2" frags I have had since November of 2011, it has been through all kinds of crazy alk swings and both finally really started taking off around last july/august.

Thanks! There are a few other cool pieces I have had really take off that I need to take pics of. My battery died on the underwater fujifilm camera so maybe later today!

I have had a few pieces encrust and sit for 6 months to a year, then really take off. Most of the time if I can at least start with a piece that is over 1.5" the growth rate is exponentially quicker from the get-go.
My parameters-
Alk is 9, I dont test for Ca or Mg. I do a water change weekly w/ NSW. Have been using NSW for the past 4 years.
Also run Dr. Tims biopellets, gfo, and run a CaRx (w/ approx 10% neomag ) & a Kalkwasser drip. I dose aminos, prodibio bio digest, and trace elements when I change the water.
