Is there Anyone has idea what problem causing this? It used to be very good growing and PE big. My others zoas , SPS , LPS are very well. The first photo is before, the 2nd photo is now. I tried different places as well, it doesn’t work.

Hard to tell from the picture, but does it appear that the lashes are disappearing from them?

Try to place them in a different location (low to high or high to low).

I have my utter chaos in the mid to high part of my tank and the polyps extensions are good.

Yes, I did a big frag and put on the top rack. Still small and same, look at the photo.
I would split them up and place one high and one midway and leave them alone to see which one does best and see if they bounce back.

I’d say it’s about 2-3 months, I’m been worried it keeps shrinking to disappear. I thought it was mushrooms on the side of button rock bugs them , I did remove the mushrooms, unfortunately, it doesn’t make any change

Have you checked your water quality, if so what are your parameters and what test kit did you use? Has lighting or flow changed? Do you have any livestock that might be bothering them?

The water quality is good because my Acros are growing very well. The lighting has little change to more stronger but other zoas around it are growing very well. I tried to change to different location too. The livestock just same as normal like cleaner group around. One thing I notice is that when the Acros are better and better, zoas seems are not happy about it.

Acros tend to like cleaner water and zoas the opposite.

What test kits are using?

Going to be a balacing act between keeping SPS and zoas happy,,not impossible but a little trial & error..
Test your NO3 and go from there ..maybe lower ALK to mid 8's at most

Yes, I think so, it might be the problem, it needs the balance. But other zoas are very well except the utter chaos. I’m using Salifert testing kits and API too.

Tks for the advise. I’m kind scared to lower ALk , that’s the range before my Acros had problems.
