It was great seeing you guys at refapalooza again! But for the second year this noob has done it. I came home with a mystery Coral! Any help? I'm hoping one of you has a solid idea on what this is and how I can keep it alive, LOL. Thanks in advance!

Cool, thanks! So, how do I care for it?
I guess the top tip I would give from my research and months of experience with goni’s is to spot feed them zooplankton like reef roids or gonipower (specifically made for flowerpot coral) with a technique that doesn’t trigger their defenses but also delivers the food. I’ve noticed better polyp extension from regular feedings.

read up on them, they are considered a challenging LPS coral.

Thank you all!!! I have fed them reefroids a couple of times. I'll definitely look into gonipower. It's such a pretty coral & it looks healthy so far. But I hear you on the difficulty.
One more question- how often should I feed it?

2-3 times a week has been my schedule. If you feed everyday, you will probably see PO4 rise to undesirable level. If you have reef roids already, I would just stick with that, they are both zooplankton dry mix, extremely similar. I’ve been feeding mine reef roids as well.
