I’ve had a lot of trouble with my tank in the past month. First I tried to deal with Bryopsis with Fluc and that caused a massive Dino outbreak that I have been battling with Vibrant, Peroxide, UV, Blackout & raising NO3. Looks like I’m finally gaining ground but something very weird is going on with my dKH. I had risen a full point in 2 days without any dosing. I have both a KHG Pro and a calc stirrer - both connect the Apex. The RO line to the Kalk Stirrer gets diverted by a solenoid if it goes over 8.4. The KHG is programmed for 8.5. To be super sure I have put cups under both dosing outlets to capture anything- but nothing has been produced for over 2 days. What else could be increasing my dKH?

You said you raised nitrate. Dosing nitrate will raise alk as the nitrate is consumed.
I’m a little confused on the setup. If pH declined due to CO2 from decomposing organics from dead algae or dinos, would that mean more limewater was added, increasing alk?
