Mystery Wrasse picky eater

I've had my mystery wrasse for about a week and he seems like a picky eater. I'm feeding him my is and sprinela brine shrimp. He just eats a few pieces at a feeding. Thw shop i got him from had him for a month and was supposedly eating. Any reccomndations?

Can you find out what they were feeding at the store?

Is there any indication that he's being bullied or intimidated by other fish?

My wrasses (fairies though, no mysteries here) enjoy an occasional clam or mussel on the half-shell, which I get from the local food-mart.

That's surprising for a mystery wrasse. Nearly all the ones I've encountered were aggressive eaters. What are it's tankmates?

Mine was a great feeder, though he fed mostly on pods and/or whatever he could find on the rockwork. That was back when I didn't feed my tank.

IME, if an LFS says a fish is eating, make them show you... then buy some of whatever they are feeding it.

I forgot to ask what they were feeding him? I'l have to ask thanks. He is the only fish in the tank as he harrased my mcCoskers and killed it, terrtorial little bugger.
