While on vacation last August I caught 3 blennies. I had assumed all were molly miller but the smallest one looks nothing like the other 2 now that they have gotten a little bigger. He was less than a 1/2" when I caught him.
I am thinking the little guy is either a marbled blenny or horned blenny? Leaning more toward the marbled. Let me know what you think.

The other 2 have "Mohawk" looking patches of hair on the tops of their heads but this one does not. It has "eyelashes" and the others do not. Also the mouth shape differs from the other 2.

They were caught on the beach in Galveston Tx if location helps.

Here are some pics of the Other 2 blennies for comparison:

Look up Freckled Blenny. They are found in Texas. Looks similar to yours.
Quite possibly! Looking at freckled blenny led me to the feather blenny and I found some of them that look really close as well. Haven't looked to see if they are located where I found it though.

It seams there has been some new info brought for this blenny. With some help from @Chasmodes and @chris85 who have helped identify as H. Multifilis (featherduster blenny) instead of H. Hentz (feather blenny).

Both blennies are in the Galveston area but the H. Hentz being a more rare find. Also differences in the cirri have pointed to this blenny being the featherduster blenny.
