I am looking at getting a tank set up for my office. I already have two at home, so why not let the obsession spread to the office. Thinking up to 29 gallon. Any recommendations or types of lights for such a small tank?

I am leaning toward a 10 gallon maybe. Thinking mostly softies since the lighting won't be fabulous and water flow will be lower. I have never done a nano before so all the help and ideas will be great.

Anyone have a nano 16 gallon nuvo? I really like the sleek look and rimless stlye.

We have dual lamp T5 HO Aquatic life, 48 watts total on our 29g. Not much wattage but ok for Softies and might be ok with Euphyllia.

I am thinking all softies but didn't know if the flow I'd enough to get any movement in the softies

So what I am thinking so far is this

•10 gallon nuvo fusion nano
•Adding a stream spin nozzle
•rapid LED par 38 mixed color
•Reef lamp clamp booster

I think that is a good starting point and would be great for softies maybe couple LPS. I just want a small foot print and that keeps the price around $200

Amen, LED is my only choice. I have AI Hydras on my other tanks. Just wouldn't feel right with out the LED.

I also want to try out the PAR 38, I am thinking of using a few in a frag tank set up.

I am also thinking coral only, since I don't work 7 days a week to feed fish.

I think you have a good setup right now, only thing I would add is more flow since the 92gph return pump that comes with the Nuvo is kind of week especially with a spin stream attached. I would recommend adding a Knano240, you could even mount it to the back wall to reduce the visual impact of the pump on the tank. I think the PAR38 is a great choice, another option to the RapdiLED PAR38 is the Coral Compulsion PAR38 which has more LED options.

I do like that light! Options are always good.

The kano looks good but is the flow one direction ? I like the stream spin for the varied flow. Maybe a better choice is to upgrade the pump so I can use the spin and get more varied flow? Thoughts?
