Nano Reef Crest

Chemiclean isn't a for sure... I used it on my tank and it came back in about a month. It unfortunately is just part of a new system.

Dinos shouldn't come in, unless your nutrients are low. If they are low and you're having issues getting them to a suitable range, I would dose NeoNitro and NeoPhos just to be sure.
Yes for sure chemiclean isn’t preventative, but acts like a reset. I believe the cyano took off due to nitrate bottoming out. My theory is that now my nutrients are fixed (N: 12 P: 0.06) it would have a much harder time coming back after a reset. I dose trisodium phosphate and ammonia.

How did you get rid of your cyano after it came back?

Accidentally cooked my grafted monti Oops. I swing the kessil out of the way during a water change and I guess I didn’t swing it far enough back before I left for vacation. My A360XE was spot lighting the monti. Should be interesting to see what comes from this. I did notice only the frag tissue is showing bleaching and the new growth looks a bit dull, but still good.

First pic is May 19th and second is May 30th

I left the tank for 8 days and only had a friend drop in flakes on day 4. I came back to a nice healthy tank. My ATO bucket was a couple hours from being below the pump intake, but other than that the tank is rocking.
