I have a 20 gallon long with a 10 gallon sump. I am deciding on either a skimmer or a refugium for the sump. Right now I am leaning towards a refugium. If you had to pick one for a 20 gallon what would you go with?

Any recommendations for either a good nano skimmer or refugium light? Be nice to stick to around $100-$150, or less. Area in sump is approx 10x10.

Have you considered a HOB style skimmer? I recently broke down my IM Fusion 20 AIO. I had horrible luck with more then one "nano fit in an AIO" tank skimmer. So I finally put on an Aquamax 1.5 HOB. Worked great.

I probably could do a HOB on the sump, but it would take room up under the stand. I'd prefer a standard internal skimmer if i go that direction as I have the space for it in the sump.
