Nasarius snail siphon

Hi guys so I'm fairly new to the hobby but I was just looking in my tank and thought I saw the siphon of a nasarius snail on the sand and sure enough I notice one of them has hardly any siphon now. Will the siphon grow back and will this have any negative affect on my snail?

Any pics?? I would think it should grow back without much problem.

I had one when I purchased it that had a short siphon. He got along just fine and the siphon grew back over time.
