only other thing i dont like is if you plan to grow frags out, lps/zoas will start out competing each other for space. of course, the really fancy stuff always loses.

but if you use it just like a frag rack, and take them off before they grow off the plug. should work pretty well.

If my PPE'S spread to the point of competing with other zoa's then I will consider my frag station a complete success. If that happens I will just have to get a razor and scrape up some new frags for tradeing. Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Agreed!!!

Guys, if you use a mason bit and a hammer drill instead of a regular drill you can make the holes easier without cracking the rocks unless they crumble by squeezing them with your hands.(some do)

I like the idea also but I have urchins that move stuff that is super glued! They are incredibly strong!

Here is what some of my frag stations look like after about six months. Like stated above. You can do it with liverock but you just have to find the right piece. To soft and it will break.

Just wanted to show you what the ones on the filter guys website looks like once they coralline up.

These are the donuts. A guy came over to my place this week and I was showing him some of my stuff. He couldn't believe they were artificial. I am building two huge frag stations for my 60 gallon frag tanks. They should look awesome.
