It's between an Aqua Remora or an Octopus hang on. I have a 29 gallon and have been using a bakpak on it for awhile but I'm not happy with the performance. As of late, it's been even worse so I figured it was time to buy. Which do you think is better? Right now I'm leaning towards Remora because I'm more familiar with them. thanks!

I would go with the aquamaxx HOB its like the warner marine h1. great HOB skimmer. but if you are dead set on the top 2 then the octo

I would hands down go the Octo out of the two, but I would consider the aquamaxx mojo knows his stuff when it comes to skimmers.

never heard of the aquamaxx. I'll check out the details now. thanks for the input.

no problem, check marine depot. the smaller of the two is the one u want.

Do check the prices against Premium Aquatics as well, as I've found they are cheaper than MD.

I have an octopus 100 on my 36g corner no problems

MArine depot caries the full line of AQuamaxx stuff . a few other carry some of the items. Thats why i said to look there.... :) I could pretty much tell you what online vendors carry what brands of skimmers and what they dont carry.
