my tank has been set up for well over 3 years now maybe 4, everything is doinig good, lots of algea to battle lol. today when then lights went out though i spoted something strange under a rock. i cant seem to find any thing like this any where so no idea what it is or what to look for or if its bad or good.

it appears to be some sort of orange tenticles, i thought it might be coraline but it seems to be moving and looked like it was grabing particles in the water and pulling them back in but i could be mistaken cause of bad veiw and lighting.

these are not the best but i did my best to get images and video of this thing

i have not the slightest idea only been doing this roughly 4 years so still learning whats what, and this is a what the heck for me cause i have not added any thing new ini almost a year last new thing was a goldenhead goby

Maybe a baby fire worm/bristle worm?

Looks like a spaghetti worm to me also. If so they are good. And can just show up out of the blue.

ok going to just go wityh spaghetti worms and leave them be, cause to see more i would have to bust my rock open the tentcle things seem to come out of the cracks to it must be living on the inside of the rock some where

They do live on the inside of rock. They are very stretchy. If you can look up at the bottom of your tank you might see a couple that cheat and just sandwich between the rock and the glass.

i ihave no rocks against the glass, i have 2 bigs rocks in the center so i can get around them easily, also so the counch can get around them, then i have a flat rock with dragons breath glued all over it mostly burried in the sand, the goldenhead goby is good at burying rocks lol

Oh I meant from underneath; if you have access
