Hi,

Just received the below piece from my friend as a freebie . He said he received it as a frag from a wild colony . But t never colored up for him. He hates brown corals :D
Its supposed to be purple body with blue polyps.

My first impression is Acropora Granulosa . But am so bad at sps identification as i just started in it.
One thing is the pic makes the polyps look really blue which is not in reality. There are only hints of blu but again I just got it a few hours back.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks for the reply @LetItReef . I thought Garf Bonsai will have much more elongated structure . Any reason you think its a Garf Bonsai ?

Abhishek

It looks like it is forming a table. It will take time to see how the coral colors up under your lighting.

I got 2 radiums over a 30 in x30 in x18 in tank . PAR on the sand is like 200-250 .
Where do you suggest I keep it after a couple of weeks ?
If its deep water don't want to keep it very high with immense PAR

Regards,
Abhishek
