I've had saltwater tanks for years and have never seen anything like this. My current tank was set up a month ago using dry rock that sat in a tote for a year.

But I have noticed this strange white seed looking thing getting larger in one of my rocks. I can't figure it out. Nothing seems wrong with the tank (all fish are in great health)...I just want to know what this white thing is lol

Any help is appreciated!

How long is this tank running?

Agreed that it's a little boring bivalve. That's boring as in "boring into", not like boring *yawn*.

It was a little clam. Kinda threw me off because I've never had them in the tank before and the rock has been dead for years. One of the fish ended up grabbing it and pulling it out. Thanks everyone!
