Need help with a torch

I got some of that when you posted in another thread. I have not used it as I did not get it until after I did the in tank cipro treatment and I have not needed it since. I am glad I have not needed it but I may use it when I upgrade tanks and transfer corals over just in case.
I have been in the same situation as you and the issue would reoccur. I used cipro for 5 days and beat it. A reoccurrence months later cipro failed even with back to back treatments for 7 and 10 days.

I was offered to sample the CIE product and it was a few months before it was released to market, and i needed it. I saved torches back to back But I could tell it was “jumping” in my system affecting random torches every week or two. Once I felt comfortable with the product I treated the tank and my issues stopped.

Great product to have on hand but needs to be kept refrigerated and once open you have a limited time to use it, I think 3 months but don’t have the box in front of me

Thanks, So What Product do you guys recommend that I use for my tank Because I'm kinda tired of this brown jelly disease. I lost two torches too it.

Like I said I used cipro to great effect but I almost doubled the dose and time frame of the dosing. If @VintageReefer is saying the other product works I am sure it does. Just look at his tank and you would know. I have the product I just have not used it yet. Its not cheap and its a very small amount and it needs to be refrigerated to last a year unopened. Once mixed with water the cipro also needs refrigeration and also needs to be kept dark.

Both methods have about a 50-80% success range. I’ve done both and had no issues with sps, lps, fish, inverts. I think the issue with antibiotics is 1) possibility to develop antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria which I believe happened to me and 2) safe / appropriate disposal which I don’t worry about because I don’t do water changes or dispose of tank water, but most people do and antibiotics shouldn’t be dumped down a drain.

To me, the CIE product is easier to obtain and use so that’s my new go to.

Thanks for the help. But can I get the name of the product I search CIE product and I can't find it.
