So I got my custom made tank finally and there were so many issues that I got it for 25% off. One of the mistakes was the over flow was drilled too high. So now my EShopps overflow sits too high. I’m thinking I can use the back box of the EShopps and just hopefully caulk on a new front?

I have the same overflow to mount to an acrylic 20g
Why not extend/rout/dremel the overflow slots lower.
Cut off the top if desired, so it doesnt stick up over the tank edge.
Or use one of these into the bulkhead, without the aquarium side box

so one of those strainers in the front and the back would be the overflow box from the EShopps?

Can you saw off the top of the overflow? Caulk might hold but its a risk. If I'm looking at it right.

I might be able to. Does it matter if the back of the overflow is equal to the front of the overflow? I notice on all overflow box kits I see the back box is below the front box
