So I’ve been battling hydroids in my little 30 gallon for a few months now. I thought I fixed the issue around a month ago when I pulled all the rock and scrubbed it pretty good but I guess a few made it back into the tank. These are the little green jerks that kinda look like feather dusters. I’m thinking about pulling all my rock out again and letting it dry out or soaking it in freshwater to kill them. Will this work or does anyone else have a trick for these guys? Also on a side note does anyone think that my biological on the glass, sand and sump “ empty” will sustain my live stock during this process or should I set up some media in my sump before pulling all the rock. Tanks been running with live stock for almost a year now. Thanks in advance for any help.
