Need help with monti

Im new to coral in general and wasnt too sure what I wanted qnd ordered a mixed frag pack from wwc and asked for begginer friendly stuff and no sps. Got a rainbow monti, and two lps.

Does this monti look healthy? Are its polyps open? Im reqlly not sure. I have a power head coming in tommorow and Im confident my light can keep it but not really sure what I need to do.

Good polyp extension it looks like, keep the flow good and you should be fine. Monti's are great beginner SPS and some great colors as well

My SPS color issues have always been lighting or PO4/NO3 parameters, but every tank is different :)
