Need help with sump

Bought this 100 gallon cube setup for 300. Only have AIO tanks. What product and areas of the fittings should I apply the pipes so they don’t leak. And for the overflow do I seal that off inside as well? Is the waste gate in the correct location? Also found this random fitting in the sump not sure what it would be for I ask the guy he doesn’t know

I would start there and I bet you can figure yours out pretty quickly.
