Hello R2R forum

I want to create a 5 gallons top off system for my son's aquarium, where the jug sits outside on the floor. The problem is that I don't know how to create one. Would u guys point me a way where I can find information. I'm looking for links, videos, ideas, tips, forum links that can help me. I looked around but I came empty handed. Thanks in advance.

I've used THIS DIY kit from AquaHub. You still need to pick up a pump (I used Tom's Aqualifter) and some tubing (got mine from HD). Been going great since 2008. I like the fact that it has a back-up float switch.

Can I used that for a 20 gallon with no sump. I was thinking to use a 5 gallons bucket

If you are using a Bucket anything would work. If you are using a Jug you need to make sure the pump fits into the mouth. The AutoAqua Smart ATO has a tiny pump and it capable of lifting water 6.5 you could look into that.
