Need help with turf algae.

Hey there. First time poster here. 120 gallon mixed reef tank now established for about a year. Really struggling with what I think is turf algae, manually removing as much as I can with water changes and about every other day via siphoning through a filter. Dosing AFR, neophos (have increased), currently have been holding neonitrate and recently calcium and mag hasn’t been needed. Tried microbacter, augmenting CUC, sea hare etc. rocks are epoxied so can’t really remove and scrub. Do I need to do a black out?

It looks like green hair algae to me and IMO you are feeding it by adding phosphate.

Can you summarize your flow and filtration system? How much are you feeding and how often?

I'm not so sure you need AFR right now, or maybe not as much as you are using, your parameters are all pretty high, I don't see a huge coral load in your tank.

Personally in this situation I increase the turbo snails, and keep nutrients and organics super low until it passes.

I would also add more corals, more corals will shade the rocks and outcompete the algae for the nutrients, corals also bring massive loads of new types of bacteria's, much more beneficial than adding bottled bacteria. IMO. Good luck
