I'm working on getting a scape I absolutely love on this one. I rushed my 20 long scape a bit and want to get this one perfect. As you can see its dry rock and I am not in a rush so I'm good to take my time. Plan for corals is Euphyllia and Anenomes mainly Rainbow and Rose BTAs. Mabye a few zoas or LPS.

As you can see lots of pictures but, wanted to make sure there was good visual. Fish will be Bangaii Cardinal Pair, probably a firefish, a wrasse of somekind, and a blenny.

Hi. I’m wondering if I can get some help on creating an aquascape for my 100 gal tank. I’m trying to have a few caves and with two islands. Something that will be suitable for a mixed reef tank down the line. I was also trying to avoid gluing the rock in case I decide to shift the rock for coral placement in the future. Any advice or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It is nice. I like the two structure idea and the heights. I think the left structure is really good. I feel like the right one is a bit long and flat on top. Maybe pull two or three rocks from the right. It will make the top more interesting and creating a better separation between the two structures. Obviously just my opinion.

Also, remember to leave ample space for flow and cleaning the glass between the rock and glass.

I like that idea. I’ll try it tonight if I get the chance to mess with it. Thanks for your input.

Yes. I have been told to leave room for cleaning. The pictures really don’t show the space between the rock and the glass but I’m going to remove some of the rock on the smaller structure as suggested.

These half moon tanks are a bit of a pain ton aquascape. Had an idea in my head but with not much room on the sides it’s not working out.

Are you trying to build a wall? Aqua scaling is my worst nightmare.

Wasn’t really sure what I was going for. Took everything out this morning and ended up with this.

Oh wow, that is majorly different. I think it came out excellent. Great example of less is more! That one little piece in the front really sets off the left structure for me. Funny how it adds so much. Great job!
Thanks a lot and thanks for your suggestions as well.

Any thoughts on my initial layout? Having a hard time un-seeing the phallic tonga right now.

Side view, this is where I spend a lot of time viewing the tank from since it is the view from my desk, so I'm happy with the tunnels created here.

That tunnels are great, but I kind of feel like, from the front, your tank is giving me the finger. LOL. Seriously, I would try to mix up the heights a little. From the front it is pretty horizontal all the way across. Coral growth would eventually solve that of course.

Awesome advice, thank you! I was kind of wanting to lower the rocks on the left side a little anyways for more swim space near where I sit. Going to try this tomorrow.
