I have a Mag 18 on our 150g main tank, but it has twice now broken the valute....housing (return cover housing).
When it's starts going bad I notice the the pump will not restart after he Apex feed cycle. I then have to go unplug and plug back in.
it will then get to a point it will not restart.
So today it's starting to do its thing again. So I know what's coming. Although Danner sends me new covers during the warranty period. ..
I'm thinking of getting another type of pump. That is submersible with preferably 3/4" to 1" return outlet yet somewhat energy saving equal to the mag 1800gph, or a bit higher.
Just a not I can not make my sump to go external which wold open possible optons.
What do you us suggest....
