If I have the Versa plugged into my Apex, is it possible to program the outlet to turn on and off to dose Mg based on the Trident magnesium level? For example, if the Mg level falls below 1300, turn on the versa (determine rough time to dose 100mL) and make that the maximum dosage until the next trident reading?

Do you have a mxm. I don’t own a trident but if you able to call the input value then this is should be doable. Don’t think you will be able to have it trigger based on the reading itself being performed but your can set up some schedules to check

Untested code just winging this off head

Set OFF
If Time 18:00 to 18:01 Then ON
If Time 20:00 to 20:01 Then ON
If “mag reading” > 1300 then off

If if take longer then a minute to dose say 90 secs you can just control the out On time to stay on longer with

Min Time 001:30 Then ON

If your under a minute instead of MIN, DEFER the outlet the difference from a minute. So if you only need 15 sec defer the ON for 45 second with

Defer 000:45 Then ON

I don’t believe the versa doser works with mxm. If wrong, someone will correct me, but I’d buy an mxm tomorrow if I knew it controlled the Versa dosing pumps as I have a few.

I feel like they gave up and quit with regards to mxm and eco tech gear.

Versa does not work with MXM unfortunately - if i knew this i would never have bought the Versa.

But what your suggesting could be possible - set the versa to dose continually, but have it powered through the power bar?
I guess you could have your dosing amount set to suit what you consume over a 24hr period, then turn off if it starts to creep over, just doesnt give you the option to dose more if not.

Could it not be simply
If "mag reading" < 1299 Then ON
if "mag reading" > 1300 Then OFF

This is what I have on my CO2 Regulator:

Fallback OFF
Set ON
If pHCaRx < 6.5 Then OFF
If Alkx5 > 9.00 Then OFF

My thoughts:
Don’t worry about Mg - it shouldn’t change much. Just set the Versa to dose small increments daily. If you go past 1350, then program to turn off the unit, like so:

Fallback OFF
Set ON
If Mgx5 > 1350 Then OFF

Note: Mgx5 is my Trident’s reading, yours may be different.

If you using the trident that is not realtime monitoring like a oh probe. That will keep your outlet on indefinitely till your next reading.
