Nero 5 cord and urchins

Anyone else have problems with their cords being destroyed by urchins? Never had issues with other cords and urchins. The cord seems very soft and brittle.

Tunze sells a cord protector that wraps around. It comes standard with their pumps. You can order them as a spare part at Tunze.com
