What type of lighting WAS it under, ad what type of lighting IS it under? I know acanthastrea and other LPS will change color depending on the type of light you've got.
I think its from the wild. Not captive grown.

Ok wow, so how did you acquire this piece? Id bet something was awry about its acclimation. It's beautiful to me, don't get my opinion wrong, I've just never seen anything like it.

Might sound dumb, but is it ppssible to dye them? As iv heard that mane have started selling dyed btas.

Almost looks like this one at WWC link I have mine down low glued to a rock with good flow

I would give it a week possibly two to get used to you system. It takes about two weeks for mine get used to the lights.

you are welcome. I also have mine at the bottom of the tank and feed the system frozen mix with reef nutrition rottie feast, oyster feast, and R.O.E with the frozen.

Yea, im arranging for oyster eggs. Rest iv got. But problems it no tentacles yet

No tentacles for over a year. Not the best pic but she's actually in the back under my overflow box. Discovered she doesn't like LED's much.

Wow.. thts beautiful.. so no tentacles and still growing? U feeding it? Have u seen it at night? Maybe they might be coming out in the dark.
