I figured I would post some new pictures of my new tank! I purchased a bare/empty aqueon 120g rr brand new for 250$ last year ( I just couldn't pass it up! and it has been sitting in the garage waiting for us to purchase our first home!

Fast foward a few months. Test fitting some plumbing, painted the frame of the stand with an oil based paint (hopefully it will repel any salt creep/water).

Rear view of the plumbing once it was finished. Two returns and two drains. Eventually, I'd like to upgrade my return pump and build a manifold to supply water to my skimmer and media reactors and stop messing with multiple pumps.

I ran into a couple problems down the road. When I first started this build I wanted to utilize the largest sump I could fit in there for more water volume, larger refugium, etc etc. However, I found myself in a predicament when I went to mount my 2 stage BRS media reactor and my reef octopus skimmer, there is just no room left under there! So, for the moment they are mounted outside of the tank. I will have to build a cabinet off to the side to put them in at a later date. I still have a few things to finish up. I need to run an ethernet cable and rj-45 wall jack so I can setup my Apex controller to my home network, find a calcium reactor (not in a hurry as the tank doesn't have much in it, currently), and I think I am going to pull all the 1/4'' plywood back off and replace it with 3/4''. I am not too fond of the 1/4'' and how it looks. Sorry for the picture below, I just installed a new 2x 250w HQi fixture and mounted it a good distance off the top of the tank, so I didn't bake my water and inhabitants. The light bleeding out into the room proved very difficult to get a good picture. I will post some more pictures down the road as the tank progresses! :>

Looks great, what MH bulbs are you using?
I may get some hate for this....but I have used 20k odyssea bulbs for the 6 years with great success. I'll post a couple pictures below. :>
