Building a new 125 display with a 40 gallon breeder sump :D

Haven't had a reef tank in about 20 years, a lot has changed!

Tank is not drilled so using Blue Ocean 600 overflow box with a lifter pump,
3 x Phlizon 165W LEDS,
120lbs argonite sand,
currently 140 lbs of rock, with 120 of that being dry -
Homemade light fixture and sump - (first time for both lol)
Reef-Octo 110INT skimmer
Couple nice wavemakers - Nero 5 and another that moves 2300GPH
Its quite the moving body of water if i turn them all up (return pump and both wavemakers) lol.
I've tried to get some pictures moved from my phone to my email - i'll update this thread this afternoon with pictures :D

Looking forward to your build. Start with some photos of what you have thus far and keep them coming.
You need to head on over to the Meet & Greet Forum and introduce yourself! Let me be the first to welcome you, unofficially. It isn't official till you click and introduce yourself there... ;).

Short video showing most of the livestock, still trying to fine tune camera filters - I have 2 clowns, a lawnmower blenny, sand sifting goby, sixline wrasse and leopard wrasse - assorted cleaner crew snails and aptasia monching shrimps. Overall everything is pretty small except the rainbow bubble tip - who has yet to host my clowns. Want to add a “show” fish or two. Just not sure what yet. I prize my zoas so it gets hard to find suitable stock lol. Had a Kenya tree in there as well, decided to take him off his fragplug and move to a diff attachment. He’s currently in th hospital tank hopefully recovering. At the very least he looks super ticked. I’m happy with my ecosystem. It has outperformed expectations so far in terms of stability and parameters maintenance. With such a small bioload at this point in 140 gallon total volume of water though I can see why.

Tank looks nice, I like the layout and different colors of the rock you chose
Thank you, there are 3 diff kinds of rock colors , hopefully all will blend over time. It’s hard not to rearrange it every other day lol. I’ve had to talk myself out of it a few times in the last couple weeks lol

Short video, quick update - still kicking along. Lots of biodiversity videos and pictures don’t ick up. Had a brief fight with briopsis, and some GHA - starting to pick up more GhA but otherwise all healthy. Tons of grow in -

I love side pictures. I like to stick my face on the glass side and imagine I’m snorkeling lol.
