I'm thinking about buying the 40 Gallon Cube by Innovative Marine and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them and could vouch for them. I'm running on a relatively low budget so I want to make sure whatever I'm spending my money on will be worth it.

Also I will take stocking suggestions! Corals and fish! I know I want clownfish, I love their personality but I'm not entirely sure what else I could have. Colors are important to me.

For colors... suggest the following: per clowns (orn, wht, blk) damsel (blu, yellow) royal grammar (purple, yellow) six line wrasse (many colors) .. all under you 1" per gallon... and if you like sand sifters yellow watchmen or some other gobi Yashi for color.

I love mine. Haven't been upset about anything about my NUVO 40. It's my second salt tank and I couldn't be happier. Glad I went with it over the jbj 45.

Does it not have a lot of flow to begin with? The guy at my LFS said I won't need to buy a pump because it'll have plenty of flow. Will it do fine for a while without it or would you suggest having it from day one? Very beautiful tank! What is that yellow fish? It looks to be at an angle, I can't tell

That middle coral is beautiful, how much did it cost you?

I would change right from the begining... not enough flow...it barely came out because the return is split in two.

I am also running 2 MP10q for flow inside the tank.

Mini yellow tang... he was on deaths door at a Petco... I bought him for $5.00 once gets bigger he's going in a buddies 120 gallon tank. Right now he's fat and happy...when I got him he was so thin you just about see thru him and he would not eat.. I put Nori and frozen brine and now he's a piglet..

I would say not enough flow. I have two return pumps in my nuvo. In addition to that I have a hydor 850 and two hydor 240's for water circulation.

Seems like most fish at Petco are on deaths door... At least IME. :( I'm happy you got it back to health!
