He started eating nori, my homemade food and grazing the rocks within half an hour of being in the tank. He is picking on my puffer a little bit too, but I don't think it's anything too serious.
I'm happy with him so far!

One of the dream fish I can cross off the list. Next stop, yellow fuzzy dwarf lion!
This guy has been settling in really well so far. He's swimming around like he owns the place :)
Merlberg, I'll PM you the recipe when I finish work. My fish love it!

Thanks everyone! :)

Nice fish!

Yellow fuzzies are amazing! Just like others, little beggars.

Thanks rayn!
You have a yellow fuzzy don't you? I've been on a waiting list at several different LFSs up to a 5 hour drive away for over three years trying to get my hands on one. This elusive fish is near impossible to get in Australia! I will own one one day though!

Yes I do! He or she is kinda paired up with a red fuzzy too. Well, they swim together any ways.

Ahhhhh so jealous! Was it difficult to get feeding? Or just like a regular fuzzy? I've heard mixed reviews on these guys.
I'm derailing my own thread now lol.

I just fed the tank. He's still eating like a champ! A bit slow, but I was expecting that with a fish like this :)
I didn't realise how bad my micro bubbles in the DT were till now! Yuk.

Congrats, looks good! What size tank do you have? I've seen some that are quite big.

Thanks!
He's calling my 120 home for now :)
They can apparently grow up to around 20 inches long unfortunately. I've never seen any that size before, not even in photos so I don't know how true that is.
The public aquarium near me takes in donations so he'll be in good hands when the time comes :)

I have seen several that size so they certainly can get that big, not sure how fast they grow; really interesting fish though!

Pretty much like the others. Live to get feeding, then wean over to frozen. Once I get him moved to the 180 I will get pics up.

From what I've read they're slow growers :)
I'm hoping to get a few years of enjoyment out of him before having to move him on to the public aquarium. Or maybe I can just use him as an excuse to get a bigger tank lol.

I was kinda hoping you'd tell me they were really difficult to feed. Now that I know they're much the same as a regular fuzzy it makes me want one even more! Haha.
Would love to see some pics of it. And of your bluefin! I've always wanted one of those too.
