I picked up some new frags on Thursday after driving about an hour to check out a guys 300 gallon show tank. I know these may be old hat to some of you keepers but I have been trying to get some nice frags for a while.

ORA Tort (hard to pull out the green this has as well)

Bali Green Slimer (since mounted this one)

Blue Stag

I am really digging the Tort....got it for about $35 as well :)

I have had this ORA Blue Bottlebrush for a few weeks now. It is finally mounted under the Radium 250....I paid $80 for it but look how big it is already. I won frag it until it's ready....I love the ORA corals.

Thanks for the compliments...it is by far my favorite piece. It was really cool to see the colony size (about the size of my hands) that the piece was cut from to see what it can look like fully grown out. I really like how the tips have a green hue to it as well. It hope it will settle in and grow well for me and hold a nice color.

That bottlebrush above is awesome.

it could be a number of reasons
lighting could be one.how many watts?,whats the K on the bulb your using?,do you feed anything to your corals?,do you have fish that carry large loads?,i could go on and on, if your frag hasnt been in your tank for awhile just make sure you keep it alive and sooner or later it'll start to give you its best colors.

nice frags! I love my ORA tort. Very nice coral, mine is super blue and I find it really only has the green in it when the frags are small. Once it gets to a fair sized colony all of the green goes.

Really nice piece Mike. Now that my frag has been in my tank for almost two weeks, it is starting to get a nice greenish tint to the "skin" of it. My favorite coral in my tank so far.

Here's an updated top down of the frag that I got. It really gets better by the day and really has started to get some nice green hues. It is two weeks old in my tank today and was fresh cut the day I got it.
