Getting back into it all after 20 years! Seems reefing has come along way since my old metal halide days.
Now being retired I have the time to focus on it all. Have been getting up to date by watch tons of videos and reading forums etc.

I would like to build a 1500 / 1800mm (5-6ft) Peninsula system (Probably a Red Sea Peninsula or New S3 Cade Peninsula tank) I don't mind spending a little more for system components that are quieter.
Overall my aim is to make the system as quiet / silent as possible. It will be located between Lounge and dining room. All day to day operating hardware must reside under the tank. I have space in garage for quarantine tank, water mixing etc.

What models and brands of equipment have people found to be the most quiet or even silent for the following?-:

Return Pump(s)
In tank flow/ wave powerheads/pumps
Skimmer
Doser
Lighting
Chiller
Automated multi parameter water tester

Preferably, one eco system /app to control/ monitor all or a s much as possible. eg Apex / Mobius / Hydros........?

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!

I too had quiet as a strong design consideration.

I picked AI blades for lighting due partly to no fan.

The Tunze powerheads (6105 eco) are very quiet.

While I did not care since they are in the basement sump area, my Jebao 1000 dep is a very quiet return pump.

My cooling system is silent, but specialized, as it uses cold tap water.

My BRS dosers are silent.

My Tunze skimmer is very quiet.

I would personally suggest Hydros as a controller for your system!

I haven’t had personal experience with all of the other brands/ecosystems and I’m sure you’ll receive pros and cons for all eco systems. I like Hydros due to the plug-and-play nature of the controller. It allows me to control and monitor everything I need.

Im sure Neptune Systems has a very active Facebook group as well, but Hydros’ users Facebook group is EXTREMELY active and helpful.

I’m currently running the Hydros Control X4 paired with X8 Energy Bar. I have their ATO, Auto Feeder, Temp Thermometer, and PH probe connected to my X4 controller, and everything else is controlled by my X8 Energy Bar.

thanks for the recommendations. The Hydros system looks pretty good.
