New Coral Added - placement questions

Hi everyone,

I got 6 new soft corals today:

Pulsing Xenia
Branching GSP
Ricordea Florida
Anthelia waving hand
Clove polyp lemon laser
Green toadstool leather

I added them about 4 hours ago and the Xenia and anthelia are drooping a ton. Please see attached video. Are these in areas with too high of flow? Is this normal regardless of flow? First coral so tons of questions and want to make sure I’m doing everything right. Should I move my powerheads up a bit higher to reduce direct flow?

Give them time to acclimate and come back!
They could take days to come back to strength... if they don't look better tomorrow let us know.

Morning all,
Unfortunately the Xenia and anthelia did not look any better this morning. Looks like one of them is fully retracted and one of the polyps is holding on by a thread. I moved them up and they seem to be doing a bit better. I also raised the side powerheads to reduce the direct water they’re getting.

Also turning lights on slowly! Will slowly climb today.

I would make sure they are getting enough light! Maybe lowering the flow they are getting hit by might be a good option too

Thanks Gumbie! I am slowly raising the lights today to try and reduce stress, left them off all day yesterday when received. I'll bring the side powerheads a bit higher and change the angle to reduce direct impact when i have time today! hope that helps. thank you!
