the xenia really take over fast but a good way to monitor your water with their pulsing and they have good movement as well with the kenya tree, i got from your other posts about fish and this one your new, so i would start with those two and monitor water perameters after a couple months.

I am interested in Zoas and euphyillas. Would those be good starters?

anything is a good starter depending the road you want to take, i like to put a cheaper hardier coral in first, even in my nice tanks to see how they react for a couple months..if you want put 100$ under the zoa frag plug and it will have a new head in the morning........lol sorry

Start with softies (zoas, gps, Xenia, any type of leather/sinularia, etc) then move up to desired coral slowly. Don’t make the common mistake, introduce corals slowly into your tank, and don’t just throw them into your tank! Good luck!
